World famous bloodlines:
Hans Eijerkamp & Sons, The Netherlands are recognized around the pigeon world as the owners of the finest collection of performance (breeding and racing) families of racing pigeons that exist today. They are the leaders in supplying world class bloodlines, at reasonable prices, to pigeons fanciers around the world. To meet the needs of their customers Hans Eijerkamp & Sons have established breeding studs in Holland, Poland, The United Kingdom, China, Australia and North America. There are many reasons for the tremendous success of Hans Eijerkamp & Sons and their pigeons, however I believe most importantly is the fact that they are racing fanciers. They know what it takes to win in todays competition and they make sure they have what it takes for themselves and their customers. They do not sell pigeons to their customers until they have throughly tested the pigeons themselves. They only keep the families that win for themselves and therefore only sell those families to you. The following is a brief description of the families that have brought tremendous success to Hans Eijerkamp and their customers:
JANSSEN: Many believe the finest colony of Janssens today reside with Hans Eijerkamp & Sons. This view is shared by many of the top racing fanciers in Belgium, Holland and Germany. The Hans Eijerkamp Janssens have evolved over the years, in the beginning it was purchases directly from the Janssen bros of Arendonk, and then Ace pigeons of Janssen origin from Smeulders, De Klak, and Bert Camphuis. Some of the most notables are “FAMOUS 05", “JAMES BOND”, “GENERAAL”, “ROCKY”, “GOLDRUSH”, “WONDERBOY 05 & 06", “COMMANDER BOND”, “ROMARIO”, “FLITS”, “GLAMOUR BOY”, “GOLDFINGER”, “HANS” and recently “PRIMA VERA”, “PORSCHE BOND”, “MISTER BOND”, “SILVESTER”, “BARTOLI”, “MISS SAIGON”, “MR LOVERMAN”, “LOVERBOY”, etc. VAN LOON: In recent years the Van Loons have become a favorite of many successful fanciers but Hans Eijerkamp discovered the value of the Van Loons many years ago. Purchases were made at the lofts of Louie Van Loon and also at the lofts of very successful fanciers with the Van Loon bloodlines. The Van Loons excelled at the middle distance and one day long distance races, ideal for the racing we have here in Canada and America. Hans Eijerkamp also discovered that the Van Loons are an excellent cross with the Eijerkamp Janssens, much of Eijerkamps racing successes are a result of the Van Loon / Janssen cross. The key Eijerkamp Van Loons are: “SILVER SHADOW”, “SILVER BULLET”, “SILVERMANN”, “ROMINGER” ,”085", “040", “CHICAGO”, “DENVER”, “BEACH BOY”, “BAZOOKA”,”ARMSTRONG”,”SILVER SHADOW II”,”DON LEO” etc.
VANDENABEELE: Several years ago Hans Eijerkamp shook the pigeon world by purchasing 60 youngsters from Gaby Vandenabeele for a huge sum of money and proceeded to race these 60 youngsters in young bird and old bird racing programs. The results were so special that Eijerkamp then returned to Gaby and purchased youngsters from all the top Gaby champions, “WITTENBUIK”, “LIMOGES”,”TURBO”, “RONKER”, “DOKUS”,”KOLONEL”,”SON RAMBO”, ”STIER”, ”WOLFGANG”, ”ADJUDANT”, ”BAMBINO”, ”PAREL”,”BLAUWE FIDEEL”, etc. The final pieces of the puzzle was completed at the loft of Koen Minderhoud, perhaps the most successful loft of Vandenabeele pigeons other than Gaby himself. Koen Minderhoud is known as the champion of the Provincial races and he races from a poor location. Hans Eijerkamp purchased several youngsters from Koen’s top breeders and then in 2002 Hans Eijerkamp purchased the complete old bird race team which included many of his champions, Ace pigeons and Provincial winners. The puzzle was now complete and a Vandenabeele dynasty was established.
EIJERKAMP FOND (Long Distance): One day and overnight long distance racing is very much an important element of the Eijerkamp racing program. The great old long distance bloodlines of Aarden, Van de Wegen, Van Wanroy form the bases of the Eijerkamp fond. The Eijerkamp Fond champions are: “BLACK GIANT”, “BONFIRE”, “RED RISING SUN”, ”BERGERAC”, “KATJA”, “JIMMY FLOYD” etc.
